Business ObjectsWe have recently been involved in the development of an Oracle Financials data warehouse which allows users to access data away from the live environment. This allows users to run ad-hoc reports at will without affecting the performance of the live system. The data warehouse is automatically refreshed with live data every night of the week and scheduling can be controlled through the standard Oracle Financials System Administrator responsibility. The system is based on the standard Business Objects universes which have been streamlined and simplified in order to allow users to extract valuable information from the data without a detailed understanding of the relationships within or between the universes themselves. Our detailed knowledge of the Oracle Financials database architecture allows us to develop Business Objects reports to meet the specific needs of our clients. By combining our Business Objects skills with our Oracle technical skills we are also able to migrate reports from Business Objects directly onto the live system where they can provide up to the minute results.
