Who We AreAlder Consulting Ltd is a small consulting company based in the North of England. Although we have only been established as a Limited Company since December 2000, our key consultants have several years of experience in the IT and finance sectors. Our Head Office is in Sheffield and we have worked with clients throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
What We DoAlder Consulting Ltd provides functional, technical and business support to companies who are implementing or upgrading their financial systems. We supply experienced contract staff to provide the specialist skills required during such projects. Our expertise is currently with the implementation of Oracle Financials systems and we have been involved with several successful upgrades from version 10.7 and 11.0.3 to the latest, web enabled versions, 11i abd release 12. In addition to business process design and functional configuration of the software, we provide technical expertise taking advantage of the latest developments of Oracle's 8i database to incorporate improved functionality into bespoke applications using embedded Java technology. We also have expertise in designing streamlined data warehouses for use alongside Oracle databases through the use of Business Objects and Discoverer. In addition to these primary areas of work we have also developed bespoke solutions utilising Microsoft Access and SQL Server. We also provide a web page design service.
